1st day back to work from maternity leave...
and I did great!! But, picked DD up at 530 and she is asleep since 8pm..I feel like I get little time w/ her at night...do u feel that way? DD is 3.5months.

congrats! I am dreading this as I go back next Tuesday but only in the office 1 day a week. I can't imagine leaving DS!!!!

Me too!! It's not typical for me to pick her up as late as I did tonight (I only have to pick her up past 5 on 2 Mondays of the month, the rest are 3:45 thank goodness)..but I literally had all of 45 minutes with her. She hardly slept today so she was beyond exhausted.
ugggh I miss her I really did have a great day though...it was great to be back, but I do love my job so that helps.

3:45 is great!! I work 8:30-4:30. DH watches her on Tue and Wed, b/c he is off those days, and drops her @ the babysitter at 11:30am on Mondays and1:30pm on Thur and Fri. It is great that she is w/ us most but it is still so hard for me to not be w/ her from when I leave, (7:30am) until I come home/pick her up (about 5:30pm)...can't wait for the weekend!! LOL
Glad you had a good day, I did too, that helps pass the time if you like your job and stuff....it just sucks getting only a few hours with them..especially when you were used to full days!
