At that age, I usually give clothes. Girls clothes are so cute! Or, if you want something more "fun", maybe something for the beach or pool?

I get you wanting her to have something to open but as a parent of a little one - Cash/Gift Cards are always so appreciated.
At that age they get overwhelmed with gifts that even having 2-3 things to open is more than enough. And if it is anything like my family there is always so much STUFF!
I typically do cash and an outfit or a book.
Or you can do a personalized book (I see me or Wonderbly) have cute ones. I have done those with PJs.

I completely understand your point of view, as a parent of a young child. Cash or gift cards can indeed be practical and helpful gifts , especially if the family already has an abundance of toys and other items.
Personalized books are also a lovely idea, as they can be cherished for years to come and make for a great keepsake. Adding an outfit or some cozy PJs to go along with it is a nice touch that can make the gift feel more complete.
Ultimately, the most important thing is to consider the needs and preferences of the child and their family, and to choose a gift that will be both appreciated and useful. Thank you for sharing your perspective!

Party this weekend so not enough time for personalized things but might get some clothes as I know by this age, your shower stuff is gone. Maybe a little toy to go with it so she can play.
