19 month old with night time bottle still? Anyone?
Anyone else's 19 month old still take a night time bottle??
Megan still has her night time bottle before going to bed. The ONLY reason I give it to her at all is because she HATES drinking milk out of a cup and its the only way I know she is at least getting a solid 8 oz a day. I wanted to start giving her her cup of milk with dinner tonight and stop the bottle all together.
Did anyone else have this problem?

Being that my son depended heavily upon the nighttime sippy cup of milk before bedtime and it was a pain to get him to take it earlier before bedtime when we potty trained him, I weaned DD (almost 20 months old) off it early on. if you can try and have her take it earlier than her bedtime, then fine, but if it doesn't bother you, then I wouldn't press the issue.

Molly still takes a nighttime bottle. She refuses milk any other way. I don't have a problem with it at all...she drinks water throughout the day fine, she talks great, etc. I'm not in a big hurry to get rid of it especially with a new baby arriving any day.

I am having this exact problem. Actually my DD is also 19 months, and she takes 8 oz in the mid morning too. She will drink water out of a sippy cup and even a regular drinking cup but spits milk out from every other source other than a bottle. I have tried everything. She is also not the best with eating her dinner so I really like to make sure she is "topped off" at bedtime with milk at least. I would love to see if anyone has any adivce.

Actually, DD is 22 mths and I JUST took away her last bottle (nighttime) last week, she is officially bottle free.
The reason I kept her on it so long is because like your DC, she refused milk in a cup and that was the only way to insure 8oz a day, I just kept offering her milk in her straw cup throughout the day, ui didnt give up. It took a few mths but just starting last week she will now take about 6 oz at a time in her cup. So I decided it was time for the bottle to be put away, Shes now drinking about 6 oz in AM and 6 oz at night....
just keep pffering milk in the cup - - sooner or later , they will take it.

MY DS is 20 months and has a night time bottle. His dr. was fine with it as long as we brush he's teeth after.
Every night its Bath, Bottle, Brush, Book and Bed.
This is the only bottle he getting. I see his dr. at the end of the month. will ask again if its still ok for the night time bottle. DS just loves it!!!!

Ella's ben off bottles a long time, but she still gets milk before bed. I wasn't sure if your question was bottle related or milk related.
Most nights, she drinks milk (from her cup) right before bed.
