18,000 Dead in India earthquake
This is so horrific to me...Its like I dont know who to pray for, except the entire world at this point.
The pictures are so depressing, all the little kids, lost and homeless walking around bleeding.
That entire area has been through so much, I dont know if they will ever recover.
I do get a tad miffed at why the local news does not seem to be covering much of it.
Every nation was rushing to help in Katrinas Wake, yet many people dont even know the extent of the Earthquakes destruction as its not being broadcasted very much?

Thank you for posting this. Unfortunately, as we've discussed before, this post probably won't get many replies because it concerns ACTUAL drama that tens of thousands of people are experiencing right now in another part of the world. These are the horrific life events we, as human beings, should put our time and energy towards remedying.
for the people of Islamabad. It could just as well be us.
ETA: They are reporting over 19,000 deaths

A guy I work with is from India. His parents and siblings are still there. I hope they are alright. I wont know anything until Tuesday.
