14th Spinoff for e-rings. Post your dream e-ring setting
if you could have ANY setting, what would you choose?
for a while, I was drooling over these 2 from A. Jaffe  . I already have the 5-stone w-ring shown in the 1st pic. in the 2nd pic, I wanted the one on the right. Image Attachment(s):

I really love my setting - I just wish it was thicker around the bottom. I'm afraid I'm going to wear it thin! Although my grandmothers was pretty thin too - she had hers reinforced/reshanked after about 25 years of marriage, and its been fine ever since.

yes, it can definitely be reshanked - but no sense in doing it now, while its still perfect....I'll wait the 20 years and "fix it when its broke!" 
it was custom, so she can definitely add more metal.

The first two pictures are my ring. The third picture is my dream setting from Verragio. DH looked into getting it when he got my ring, but since it has a name, the cost was through the roof. It can be made by a skilled jeweller though. We may get my e-ring reset someday down the line. My stones are the same.

Melissa - that setting is beautiful...why wouldn't DH go for it?
I wouldn't change or replace my e-ring for anything. However if someone was so inclined to give me a ring for whatever reason...

I daydream about settings all the time...I have many, right now I'm loving this (first one is my 3-stone current setting)...with my 3 stones...
If DH was proposing again, I'd ask him for a modified emerald cut (square) or an asscher cut 3 stone...
