Is it really bad to use expired Neosporin?

It's only gone by one month; I had some beauty marks removed last night to be tested for skin cancer on my body...one on my back, a few on the chest....I go to clean and apply the Neo and it's one month gone. How bad is that? I want to catch the scar early.

PS: Not worried about the spots; I have an over anxious derm. She's wonderful, but I'm sure the marks are fine. But better safe than sorry.

The active ingredients are probably not 100% effective if it expired.

Hope all is OK! Chat Icon

i think just a month would be OK. if it's all you have in, can't hurt! worst case it might not be as effective.
