10 months BFing and....(TMI)
my nipple was bleeding today. Its been hurting for about a week now with a callous or blister thing on it. Sidney has 8 teeth and when she had a cold she was attached to me and not latching on the best.
Today I unlatched her cause it hurt a lot and when I did there was blood in her mouth  and it seemed like it was coming out of my nipple - but it was probably just that blister popping??? (although it wasn't even red before)
I'm sooo skeeved and in pain. Advice????

this happened to my sister=in-law and it was from ger nipple - I'd call the doc just to make yourself feel better

hey dree!!!
it could either be internally or externally . A broken capillary from insude can cause bleeding. Check her mouth make sure she doesn't have any blisters in her mouth, (Cox sackie), that is a very contagious illness, like a herpes zoster and presents int he form of a blister. I hope you feel better
