10/3 Update Transfer set - tomorrow is the day..
10/3 My Day 3 transfer has turned into a Day 5 transfer on Monday. I am very happy with this news and pray for the best!
Retrieval is set for tomorrow morning. I haven't posted much since starting IVF. I went through a very long journey years ago & have my beautiful DD as a result.
Now I have begun a new journey (hopefully not as long this time) to create a sibling for her.
Please pray all goes well tomorrow. Me and anesthesia do not mix well & I hope this time is better than last.
Thanks ladies for all the support 
10/2 update: retrieval went MUCH better than last time. I did not get sick and was home within hours.
So far my transfer is set for a day 3 (Saturday). I am a little disappointed being I had a lot of embryos that fertilized. I would think they would try to push for a day 5.
They told me they would call me tomorrow if anything changes.
Does anyone have any insight on Day 3vs Day 5 transfer?

I remember it was standard in my RE office at retrieval to plan for a Day 3 and get called for the Day 5 and I had a lot that fertilized as well and got the call the next day. They'll probably call tomorrow. If not Day 3 has produced many LIF babies good luck!

I believe at day 5 its a blast and day 3 its at the cleavage stage

I know this is late... The thought used to be if you have lots of embryos, to wait until day 5 to pick the best one. If not many, give the best chances at day 3.
I'm told that my group is only doing day 3 now because if the higher success rates overall.
