1 year-old moms, please help! My DD won't eat breakfast anymore!
Feeding my DD in the morning has become a huge battle.  She will eat 2 bites of whatever I give her, and then she'll start flailing her hands around so that whatever I'm giving her flies all over the place 
I think I need some new ideas for our breakfast repertoire  I usually rotate between:
-Cheerios with milk (or dry if she wants to feed herself)
-Mini pancakes with fruit
-Oatmeal with fruit
-Scrambled eggs with cheese
She is now turning her nose up at all of these. But then when *I* sit down to eat breakfast, she's all over me and wants to eat what I'm eating! (Usually a bowl of cereal that she wouldn't be able to chew, like Oatmeal Squares).
I get so frustrated when I prepare breakfast for her and she refuses to eat it.

DS has started doing this for the past 3 days. At first he'll give me a struggle but once he tastes whatever I gave him he'll eat it. SUPER strange coming from a little boy who devours everything I've ever given him! Must be a phase! lol

Yeah, my DD is the opposite...she'll take the first 2 bites and then refuse to eat the rest. She has no problem devouring Gerber puffs like she's not gonna live to see tomorrow though

omelette with cheese
whole wheat toast with cream cheese
DD is like this with all her meals, she wants to feed herself only  and eat whatever I'm eating, I literally sometimes find myself hiding and eating if it's something that she can't have....

DS is the same. Its like he begs like a dog. He'll walk up to you with his mouth open wanting whatever we have. He also isn't as big of an eater as he once was, but honestly, I'm ok. He usually eats one big meal a day, either breakfast or lunch.

same thing happened to us.. she got bored, so I introduced some new things to the mix. She only wants to feed herself, so yogurt, oatmeal and applesauce are out for now..

I put yogurt in a fat straw sippy, losen it up with whole milk and he devours it!
A cup like this:
What about sausages? I fry 2 up in a jiffy, love them! I will usually give them to him with some fruit on the side.
Apples w/honey are always a tasty option. I know it sounds weird but Ryan loves it.
Have you tried different cereals? Ryan isn't a fan of cheerios but he likes the multigrain cheerios. And he loves Kix.

Also toasted bagel with cream cheese is a good hit here.
Or, english muffin toasted light buttered and then I sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.

WHAT ABOUT trying waffles or french toast sticks/
and what about if you give the baby whatever you are eating- have the baby wait until you sit down to eat if you can help it

Maybe she's not hungry? What time does she wake up? Does she have a bottle/cup first? What time do you feed her?
My DS wakes up around 7:00, has milk and a granola bar on the way to day care. B/c he gets breakfast at day care around 9:15. On the weekends, I keep the same schedule.
Maybe give her some dinner food - plain turkey or chicken and pasta? Then you can give her "breakfast" for lunch if you think she needs to eat "breakfast"
My cousin would only eat chix noodle soup for breakfast for a few years - my aunt hated it - my mom said what's wrong with that.
My DS also likes ham, canadian bacon.
Maybe make the eggs in a tortilla?

Kaydyn did the same thing with lunch for my ILs. She was refusing everything. What they started doing was making her whatever and then my FIL would pretend to eat it. Of course Kaydyn came running over begging and he fed her from "his" plate. Worked every time.
We also did:
fruit
yogurt
waffles (she likes mini ones she can pick up herself)
toast with a little jelly
toast with a little cream cheese
mini bagels with butter, cream cheese or jelly.
mini muffins

I actually tried this today. I made a piece of toast with peanut butter and pretended I was eating it. She was interested and came right over. She ate about 3 bites but then wasn't interested anymore
She does still have a bottle when she wakes up at 7:30, and then I give her breakfast around 9. I never used to think she'd be hungry that early, but in the past she'd devour whatever I gave her around 9, so who knows what's going on 
I'm gonna try some of these new ideas and see what happens. This girl will drink 24 oz. of a milk a day with no problems, but all of a sudden she doesn't seem interested in food

Yea Kaydyn goes through those spurts too. Sometimes she's a great eater and then sometimes it's a struggle to get her to eat anything. It's like a guessing game most of the time.

DS loves eating blueberry waffles with a little maple syrup and a yogurt smoothie or milk in the mornings. He also likes scrambled eggs with chunks big enough that he can dip into ketchup.

My kids love mini cinnamon raising bagels with soy CC.
Waflles-I buy Van's Multigrain belgian waffles-cut them up and mix with vanilla soy yogurt-they love that.
I make them blueberry pancakes with bisquik
My kids love breakfast. Its their favorite meal

DS is the exact same way lately. I will sit down and eat breakfast with him. He cries for what I'm eating and refuses to touch his food. I trick him by putting his food on my plate and pretend as though I'm feeding him my food. I know it is only a matter of time until he picks up on what I'm doing.

I cut up the pancakes into triangles, use bowls for cereal with princesses, elmo or other characters on the bottom, make "faces" with fruit and waffles, put cheese on egg whites, etc. Make it fun and definitely try to have breakfast with your child and if you can - eat what they eat. My DD loves to eat whatever I am eating and enjoys the social aspect of meals.
ETA: we are Special K with Blueberry fans too.

maybe she just needs her breakfast time pushed back a little? DD used to be a great breakfast eater until recently. i drove myself insane trying to feed her all these different things, to no avail. she'd take a few bites and not want anything else to do with the rest.
one day i had to go on an errand early in the morning, so i didn't get a chance to feed her until an hour after she woke up. to my surprise, she gobbled everything all up! she probably became one of those people that don't need to eat as soon as they wake up. i know i'm not one of those!

Thank you all so much for your help.
We pushed breakfast back until about 9:45 today, and things went much better. Although DD always seems to eat better when DH feeds her so we'll see how things go on Monday.

I've also given waffles, french toast sticks and yogurt. DH also gave him cream of wheat once, which he seemed to really like.

Christopher doesn't eat breakfast until after 10am usually, if I make it sooner, he doesn't eat it and the dog does

DD eats MUCH better when DH or any of the grandparents feed her too!!! I think she knows she can push me, where she doesn't know her boundaries with them yet
