I went to a wedding when DS was 2 1/2 months and we were away overnight. I brought my pump with me to the wedding. (If you do this, make sure you have your battery backups because you don't know where the plugs are) If you're staying overnight, keep on pumping. If you can have a fridge, then you can keep your milk cold. For me, I was drinking like a fish, so I pumped and dumped.

I stayed overnight once w/o DS while BFing. I could go 6hrs MAX w/o pumping, so I basically pumped every 6hrs. I saved some...we brought ice for the cooler...and the hotel had ice to keep it cold. I dumped the rest b/c I drank, heavily
