i am so sorry. its an awful feeling when someone you trust has taken advantage of you. do what you need to do to feel better. personally- telling dh always makes me feel better- but that's me. you shouldn't feel embarassed. i try to treat people like i would like to be treated- and that is not the way a lot of other people operate. i'm sorry you had this experience.

I'm so sorry this is happening after all your hard work.
Go, Enjoy your party and deal with the situation afterwards. I'm sure there will be some type of course of action but doing it now will only upset you more.

I'm so sorry, but please don't cry. You have NO business being embarassed - you did what any other family-oriented, TRUSTING person would do ---- you TRUSTED your FAMILY.
This man is FAMILY - family doesn't treat family like $hit. He has some major issues.
Just like you, I would be very upset, but moreso PISSSSED.
In the end, money is money, and you may have overpaid, but you WILL have a good time, and your DH's happiness will be worth it.
But I would NEVER EVER EVER give that cousin a second of my time, ever again, and I would make it VERY clear to anyone ever considering booking with him to watch their backs.
I'm so sorry he burned you

I'm so sorry Sue-that really *****.
First of all, he shouldnt have charged you for gratuity...OR tax...sorry. IMO that is really scummy!!!!
And he could have given you a break on the price...Also he should have NOT made you leave a TIP b4 the party.....Whats wrong w/him?
I hate the pressure of dealing w/family/business...I would never do that!!!!
