Do I HAVE to have
the t-shirts with side snaps for the cord? Or any t-shirt undershirts for that matter? I realized I have not ONE !
I do have the gowns (like 6 of them) which I believe are ok but should I go get some t-shirts?

IMO its easier on the cord before it falls off. The squirmy baby could tug on the cord if it gets caught in the full length onesie. I had 5...

From what I have heard when the baby moves around the onsie can tug on the cord and hurt the baby plus it is easier to clean and keep clean with the t-shirt I would go and get some I had about 5 or 6

I didn't use them and he was fine. But they are convenient for the first few days.

i didnt use them- his bb was fine but it did have to be corterized but I dont think it was because of the onesie.

The hospital let me take whatever was in his little drawer home...including 4 nightshirts with the snaps on the side.
