Another Cruise Question
Who did you book your cruise through? There are a lot of places on line, but their prices seem to good to be true.

My friend is a Liberty Travel agent in NJ and I was speaking to her yesterday about cruises. She told me there were so many price wars between all the sites that they all came to an agreement that all the pricing for cruises would be the same whether you book online, at an agent, or directly with the cruiseline.
Are you not finding them to be the same price?

When I looked at the cruiselines individual websites, they came up more expensive that cruise.com or affordablecruises.com.
I'm just a little nervous about booking with companies I know nothing about.

I always book our cruises through Elise from Cruisebrothers.com......check the site for her number......she always gives the best prices.

This is not quite true. If you are booking a RCCL or Celebrity cruise it is pretty close - booking a cruise thru Liberty travel or a brick and mortar company will cost you about the same. However, celebrity and RCCL are allowing certain "key" companies (online large agencies) special discounts - you have to search for these companies. Otherwise those two companies have a no discount policy.
Princess I know does not have this policy - I would do a lot of price shopping as the prices vary greatly.
My family has booked 7 cruises with www.bestpricecruises.com - My friends and I have also used them for for our past few cruises. They have the best prices around and you have two options - book online - or pay like $7 more and book with a person over the phone - I use connie over there and have never had a problem. Price shop around - but they have been about $100-400 pp cheaper than everywhere else - they are a huge company who has been around for a long time and since they have a large business they get better deals
