Spent my lunch break donating blood
It's that time again. Just got back from donating blood. I think this donation may put me at the 8 gallon lifetime donation mark.
Every time I donate and post in here, I also take the opportunity to ask eligible donors to donate blood. They are critically low right now, so they can use every pint they can get. I know not everyone can donate. I couldn't donate for many years. But those who can, should.

Spent my lunch break donating blood
Thanks for the post! I had to receive blood multiple times while I was going thru chemo, and I just found out that since my cancer was a blood cancer, I'm no longer eligible to donate blood or organs. :(

I'm so glad that blood was available for you!
That sucks that you can't donate anymore.
These are the reasons I donate as often as I can, and I try to encourage others to donate.

That's awesome. It's so quick and easy, i wish more people did it. I donated my kidney last year so i needed a break from bloodwork and needles but really need to get back to donating blood again!

That is amazing. I've always had the utmost respect for organ donors. I'll make more blood very soon, so it's not a huge sacrifice on my part, but donating an organ to another person is truly a huge benefaction at a whole other level.

The map has permanent donation centers, as well as blood drive locations. You can move the map around, select date ranges, and what type of donation location (mobile, donor centers), and what type of donation (whole blood, platelets, double red, etc)
