I want to get excited about this. I really do.
But there are too many examples of Repubs who teetered for a moment but then fell in line right behind Trump over the past few years.
He didn't come out and say yes. I mean really, what more is there to think about?
I think he's buying time to see which way the wind blows.
But I hope I'm wrong.

He had to write that letter for his own safety I think. After their briefings of the threats, I think it shaped things for some people. Pence is scared, I’m sure. There were warnings that if he granted the 25th, he would be killed or something.
Vice Presidents don’t get secret service security forever. I think just 6 months.
I don’t like that guy… But my heart goes out to him. People were chanting for him and they brought a noose and gallow to the Capitol steps!

From what I read, he is really mad that he lost the Senate majority. He blames Trump. It also said that he purposely wanted this news out there… Because he is upset and done with Trump.
He is another creep. But I do think there is some sort of respect to procedure in these extreme circumstances. He’s a snake… But he does strike me as someone that knows when it’s time to do the right thing. I may be giving him too much credit though.

I think Republicans like Mitch are just worried about their gravy train. They need their donors especially the mega donors that benefit from R's legislative tendencies.

I don't trust anything he says, or the reasoning behind why he says things.... there's an ulterior motive in there for him.
