For a rough estimate just use the first day of your last period so August 25 and put it into one of those due date calculators. The Dr might change it though based on your 1st sono. You can call the doctor tomorrow just so you get an appointment that works well for you. My doctor schedules the 1st appointment at 8 weeks regardless of how early you call.

My dr had me come in right away to confirm pregnancy and i was just under 6 weeks. Call your dr and they will let you know when to schedule your first appt

I would go to the doctor based on last period - I think my OB does the first ultrasound around 8 weeks. They will date it with ultrasound. I would call right away to get the appointment.

I'd call now and give them the date of your last period. They'll probably schedule you in a week or two. Now would be about 7 weeks out from your last period, so technically you're about 7 weeks along.

The day you get pregnant you are already 2 weeks along according to how the doctors date it. It's really weird.
They will get you a more accurate due date based on your first few sonos.
You seem to have been irregular your last few periods so it's hard to go off your lmp date anyway

Not necessarily. It depends on when you ovulate, not when your last period was. If you're irregular (the OP described cycles irregularly spaced) then the period date is irrelevant and would only cause unnecessary anxiety if/when the baby is not as far along.
OP, I'd start with bloodwork and go from there.

Yes, but without a doctor's appointment, they'll never know. That's what I mean by technically- since when you call up to make your first appt, they count by your last period and they'll schedule you accordingly based on that assumption.

I remember my Dr kept trying to date me by my last period. I kept telling them that never in my life have I had a "normal" 28 day cycle. Never. Even when I am super regular, my cycles are about 35 days. I ovulate 3 weeks from my period. On day 21.
I know exactly when I ovulated that cycle because I took OPK's. I know when I got pregnant. to the day.
Sure enough, once they did the sonos they realized I was right and I was about a week earlier along then they kept insisting I was prior.
Annoying.

They will definitely ask you for the date of your last period and schedule an appointment for your first sono that way. After they will determine a round about due date.

Hey if it's all going to depend on your last period to date your pregnancy, I carried my son till 50ish weeks, give or take.
