What do you trust more..an OPK or EWCM?
Ha! I know this is a funny question, but I'm sort of serious.
OPK said my peak was CD12 (Saturday). Tuesday I had EWCM.
What to trust..hmmm.

Probably the OPK.
It won't hurt to BD the day of EWCM.....but you can still get EWCM when ovulation is over.

we BD'd the day i got the peak and also the day of the EWCM.

Weird answer but BOTH
you can get more than 1 LH surge in a cycle.
Here's an example of this ...
you get a + OPK on CD12 but notice at about CD14-15 a lot of ewcm, if you retest (I know you're not supposed to) you could possibly get another LH surge.
Reason being the first surge may not have been high enough to trigger Ovulation , so your body does it again to release an egg.
This has happened with me and dr confirmed I had multiple surges in 1 cycle.
Trust your body. If you have Ewcm, BD again to cover all bases.
