Preworkout?

I've never used one. Saw one at Costco when I was picking up protein shakes.. is it truly beneficial?

Preworkout?

I use one by infitnitude nutrition. They sponsor me so I have a discount code tracyp15. They just came out with a new flavor that is delictious but to be honest I like the original flavor better..

I do find them beneficial because I workout 2 times a day. Once is at 4 am and the second is after work. I typically use it for the workout after work. I drink it on my commute to the gym.

Re: Preworkout?

Sure it's beneficial. There have been studies for years and years about the benefit if caffeine before a workout.

A lot of natural-types just do like 4oz black coffee, same principle.

Personally, I definitely feel a difference when I do, and don't use it. Especially when I have a long workout, or long cardio session/run. If I'm home and have time I'll do coffee, if I'm it's after work or I'm rushed, I'll do pre-workout since it's easier to just mix and drink.

Absolutely beneficial... Pushes me to go harder. Def do some research and pick one up. Try half a scoop the 1st time to see how your body reacts to it. My DH and I go to GNC a lot and he makes sure the pre-workout he picks up is good for women as well.

Re: Preworkout?

I did find it helped. I usually just drink black coffee before going to the gym. I do think there's a difference from coffee and the preworkout. With coffee, it just gives me energy with the preworkout, I feel I can go much heavier in weights. I feel stronger. So if doing cardio, I'll just have coffee. When lifting I'll have preworkout. Also if I plan on doing a long distant run like 10+ miles, I'll have preworkout instead.

I use the beachbody one called Energize. I do feel like it helps me push harder during my workouts.

Another vote for Energize! Definitely worth checking out: https://www.beachbody.com/product/supplements/energize-pre-workout-formula.do

It gives me that little extra push on my lazy days but doesn't leave me feeling dehydrated like coffee does.
