Burns?

I splattered hot olive oil on my face while cooking the other day and now I'm panicked it's going to scar. Anyone have experience with this? Should I go to the doctor (I hate going to the doctor)?

It shouldn't.
Use Aquaphor on it, to keep the skin hydrated, and don't pick at the skin when it begins to peel.

I had 1st and 2nd degree burns on the palm and fingers of my left hand. Plastic surgeon told me to use aquaphor.
