Anyone deliver twins vaginally without an epidural?

I will be 13 weeks on Monday and my doctor told me that I can try for a vaginal delivery if they are both in the proper position, but I have to have an epi because, like you heard, there is a high chance of c section with twins. I was also told I would have to labor in the OR, even if I am able to deliver them vaginally. Good luck and Congrats!

my doc required the epi too - i had one at 10 cm so it was a strict rule- i labored in the l&d room till i got my epi then went into the OR for delivery - my second did not engage so he was delivered by c-section so they switched it to a spinal - much easier at that point

I had them both vaginally with no epi. I would have opted for one, but missed the window. I was 30w and they had me on mag to stop labor. They told me to hold off the pain management for as long as i could.

I had an epidural and it was good because after delivering my son vaginally I needed an emergency c-section for my daughter.
