Sad news for me * update- now I don't know what to think!!
Went to the do for for my 7w 1d ultrasound and although they saw a fetal pole this time measuring 2mm but there was no heartbeat. The tech seemed to indicate that it was too small to have one yet but then I spoke to the doctor and she said we should have seen one. I have to wait a full week to confirm anything but she didn't seem to have much hope. I am so beyond depressed and to have to wait another week is going to kill me. Pray for me ladies.
So my regular RE called and said there is a chance that I implanted late. For whatever reason my HCG wasn't checked but my other levels were and they are great. Instead of waiting the full week she wants me to come in on Friday. Honestly I feel like I'm trapped in a nightmare. The other RE was so cold and matter of fact. when i started to cry she just handed me my exit slip and said "see you next week". This is why I hate the early monitoring! I never get to see my doctor and everyone has an opinion and all I am left with is a knot in my stomach and wishing life away just to get to the next sono. I don't know how to think or what to feel. I can't eat or sleep and all I keep wondering is wrong with my body and how can this be happening to us again!! Sorry I just needed to vent. I feel like I'm going nuts!!

Sad news for me
I've been there before and it's awful. Have you had any blood work done? Are you certain of your O date? Surprisingly when this happened to me, my dates were off by 2wks. You're in my thoughts!

Thank you, I had IUI done so its a possibility I'm a few days behind but they still should have seen a heartbeat. This will be my second miscarriage in a little over 3 months. I just can't function right now. I've had so many tests done and no reason found to not have a viable pregnancy. I am sick to my stomach.

Sorry for your loss. At 8 weeks I miscarried too no heartbeat.

I hope you just implanted late, but why the heck wouldn't they check your HCG?

This is EXACTLY what happened to me. No blood work just 2 questionable sonos. I don't know how I never had my HCG tested. Someone definitely dropped the ball... anyway- I had just had my 2nd mc and they were telling me I was having a 3rd... thankfully my OB called me and had me go in for betas and a f/u sono a few days later. Surprisingly, there was my DS! I don't want to give you false hope but I'm proof that anything can and does happen!

Every sono I have had I have been behind by about a week and told not to worry. The first week they just saw a gestational sac, the next a little yolk sac and no fetal pole, now it's all of the above with a little fetal pole. Every time they said it was normal and I felt it was behind based on what they told me what should be seen during my first pregnancy. Now all of a sudden it is not normal. My first Beta was 79 which I felt was on the low side and they said it was great. So confusing!!!!!
I appreciate you telling me this and I hope that I am in your boat and that they see something on Friday. I am trying not to feel hopeless but it is hard. I am so grateful I don't have to wait until Monday. I really just need closure either way at this point, the anxiety attacks are out of control. Thank God I am off because functioning at work would be out of the question!
