DH Getting laid off- looking for a recruiter
DH is Getting laid off after 17 years if service
The company is closing the location
He doesn't have many skills since this has been his career for most of his working life
Looking for a recruiter or someone to help w a resume
No part time or temp work
Nassau county please

What kind of work does he do? DH has worked with a few but they specialize in civil engineering / construction.

He was a courier for a delivery co
And also worked w customer service and customs paperwork for the same co

Those are skills that can absolutely be transferable if the resume is tailored right. I would start on craigslist believe it or not, but it's key to make sure that his resume highlights the skills such as customer service and the office work that are very transferable to other careers... And if he is able to find openings with other delivery companies highlight the courier skills.
