Shopping for a wedding dress on a budget??
Hi ladies, I am helping my SIL shop for her wedding dress. Her budget is about $1,000 for her dress.
I am going to take her to David's Bridal (which is better, Massapequa or Lake Grove?).
Any other ideas for where to take her on LI? I want her to have a nice experience, but also don't want to upset her by taking her to a place she cannot afford.

Maybe try Estelle's on Rt 110 in Farmingdale. They have a good selection of wedding dresses.

I bought a wedding dress and ended up falling out of love with it.
I found another that I loved but couldn't bring myself to spend another $1500 on a dress.
I went on a site Pre-Owned Wedding Dresses and found the dress that I loved for $200! The girl selling it had the same experience as me...where she found this dress and then didn't love it. SO I got my dream dress for $200.
It can't hurt for her to look on there and if she sees something, maybe go try it on at a bridal boutique...if she loves it, she can buy it at a fraction of the price on that site.

Shopping for a wedding dress on a budget??
Go to Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point, they carry Alfred Angelo dresses and they are very reasonable! My gown was $899 and a friend of mine got hers for about $950. Besides the fact that they have a huge selection of Alfred Angelo dresses, the staff there is so helpful and I couldn't have a better experience!

Crashing, when I got married in 2011 I had about the same budget for dress, veil, shoes. I went to Lillettes in Bellmore and found my dress which I fell in love with. I worked with Geri.
