What do you do with all the "stuff"???

Between school projects, pictures she has drawn, perfect scores on tests, dance recital programs.... Where do you store them all? What do you save, what do you get rid of???

Scan them or take pics of them. That way, they take up no physical space, easy to organize, and they won't age, get wet, etc.

We hang a good portion of their stuff in the playroom - the goal is to wallpaper at least one of the walls!

Other stuff we box up and catalog "2005 - Robbie K/Noah Prek", etc..

I'm also starting to keep some stuff in my office.

My mom never kept my artwork and it really bummed me out. Especially when Rob's mom gave him a huge box of report cards, special certificates, some tests and his art when he moved out. It was so cool for him to see and I want that for my boys.

We have a huge portfolio under our bed.

The "good" stuff goes in there. And from experience, the stuff that was done with excessive "help" from the teacher goes in the trash OUTSIDE.

hahaha yes you MUST not get caught! BTDT

I have a plastic bin for each child. Some of these things are not flat or small in size so I am willing to have a rubbermaid per kid. But I weed out. Do it sooner than later. I saved everything from #1 and even #2, knowign I'd have to someday weed stuff out and now it's a daunting task. And I wish I wrote what year on each thing as they came in bc now I can't tell what DS did when he was in 1st year or preschool or the second year.
