Ugh.... freaking out about PreK!!!
I just found out that DD did not get chosen for the 4 year old program in the preschool she currently attends. It's done by lottery, and she is waaaayyy at the bottom of the wait list. So, now I have to PAY for preK next year!! The program she's in is UPK, so it's free.
I would think that she would be grandfathered in, since she went this year!! And why the heck would they wait til now to tell us? Three of the places I called are already full!! I'm sorry for venting I'm just royally p!ssed off right now!

The program she's in is UPK, so it's free.
Paterson hasn't approved money to UPK at all...so as of right now, it's not happening for anyone.

I hear ya, we didn't get picked for the lottery in our district either but I have been paying for this past year since we don't have lottery for 3 year olds.

Two of the places I called already have waiting lists and I am waiting from a call back from another
