Pre-school graduation

It's June 17th.

I wanna cry every, single time I think about it. There is no baby left in my baby....she is growing so fast.

Anyone else need tissues for this? Or am I just a big, fat baby myself.

Re: Pre-school graduation

I just got Nate's letter about his graduation ceremony today. I'm not too emotional about it but I'm still amazed at the fact that I'll have a kindergartner in Sept.

Just gives you more of a reason to get crackin' on #2 Chat Icon

Re: Pre-school graduation

I can't even think about it. I went to the school to fill out her kindergarten paperwork and the women in the office must have thought I was insane b/c I was SOBBING.

Its a big deal and again, I'm not thinking about it b/c I just can't. Its not happening. Ignorance is bliss Chat Icon

It's just awesome! My big boy is graduating Kindergarten on June 17th. I still can't comprehend that.

Pre-school graduation was tear-inducing. My little boy got up there, took his diploma and when they asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, he took the microphone and like a big boy, said, I want to be a baseball player! Chat Icon

Ours is June 16, so I will be crying a day ahead of you Chat Icon

I was a blubbering mess at moving up, I started getting a lump in my throat when I overheard them practicing their songs for this years graduation a couple of weeks ago...

Everyone tells you that it goes by so fast, but I seriously had no idea HOW fast....Everytime he makes me crazy and I want to send him to the moon, and every time I trip over one of his little cars I try to tell myself that one day, there will be no more little cars to trip over and I will want these days back ...

Ok, need to go cry now Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Pre-school graduation

The preschool my kids attend doesn't do a graduation ceremony, they do a circus instead. I love the school but it's the one disappointment. I was bawling at my niece's preschool graduation so I can only imagine I'd be in the same place as you with it.

Embrace your right to be a weepy Mommy of a preschool grad!!

Re: Pre-school graduation

It's not just you. I'm going to be a mess.

I remember the morning I dropped her off at pre-k the first time. I was hysterical crying as soon as we hit the block. I had to sit in the car for a minute to calm down before I was able to walk her inside. She had a little play a couple of weeks ago at school & I cried during most of that performance, so I'm sure graduation will be a tissue needed event Chat Icon

Re: Pre-school graduation

Thanks guys...good to know that I am not alone.

I cried hysterically when I dropped her off at her pre-school/daycare in September because I KNEW that this day was coming.

Her teachers sent home a note the other day that basically called out qualities in each child and why they are special. I couldn't even make it past Bella's first sentence.
