I think I'm going nuts...

The last few weeks my almost 17 month old son has been saying 3 word phrases. He won't repeat it, only says it once. But I know he's saying it. Like this morning... I was telling him to go wake daddy up he's in the bedroom. He walked to our bedroom door points and says "Is Dad Home?". I couldn't believe my ears! Now my son usually goes to our bedroom door and says da-da, but I'm always telling him that da-da's not home he's at work. He also said yesterday pointing at something and said "What's this for?" I couldn't believe it then either. Everytime he says a sentence, I say to myself, no you didn't just say that! Maybe it's from getting the tubes in his ears, he's able to talk now... really talk! Up until a couple of weeks ago, it was only 1 worded things. Now all of a sudden... Isn't he too young to be talking sentences? I thought it was around 2.5-3 yrs old? I'm still in shock! It's amazing hearing it come out of his mouth. just wanted to share!

I don't know about the whole timing thing but it's wonderful news that your little guy can articulate so well! Yay Caiden!!

I know its weird but it happens my son is almost 16 months old and his fav thing to say is whats that or whats this and then he says da-da. i think if they hear something enough or they have something they wanna say theyll say it. you are not going nuts its happening lol
