we have the skills, we just make stupid mistakes. We have the skills to beat the yankees, we just have to get our act together and stop making stupid little league mistakes
...I was not at all pleased with my Beltran this weekend. Very disappointed in him...However I do not know how he played on saturday. I only saw highlites of the game...

AND i am sorry but if Piazza would stop is tantrums and just hit the ball low and hard...he would have been fine....
BUT NOOOO....he had to try to be the big man when the winds were up....

ALL of them should have been trying to solid base hits not HRs!!

there are immature fans everywhere...
drinking+sporting event can = immaturity
But i really do not think Beltran was horrible this weekend...
Both teams have the ability to kick butt... As seen by the games this weekend.
This is what makes the subway games the most exciting imo...
But i have to say...Although winning on sat. The Yanks out played the mets.
So it should be interesting june games...

I agree that had the Mets not commited some errors they would have won. But let's not forget that defense is a part of the game. And if A-rod hadn't commited an error yesterday the Mets wouldn't have scored first. Errors and defense play a bigger part of the game then people think.
