2005 Chevrolet Cobalt

Hi...Just wondering if anyone had one and what was their thoughts on the car...Do you like it? Do you recommend it to other people looking for an inexepensive 4 door?

I saw the commercial for the car. You can get one for $574 down and $159 a month, and thats a great deal for a smart buy....

Thanks,
Scott

My mom just did the smart buy on this car and LOVES it! It's adorable - doesn't really look like a "Chevy" (no offense to Chevy owners). I'd recommend at least looking at it.

We already looked at it a few weeks ago but that was before this deal came about. Do you happen to know what your mom is paying on a smart buy....How much she put down.....If you dont mind telling me that is...

My brother bought one a few weeks ago. I'm not sure of the finacial details, but he and his wife really like it.

My mom refuses to ever put $ down on a lease so she's paying more per month - somewhere in the $235 area, no $ down.

i'm pretty sure that for our new 2005 honda that we are leasing we did not put a penny down b/c if the car is stolen, you lose that $ that you put down
it's a little more each month, but that is what we are doing

Nope. $0 period. Only thing she paid was the first month's fees.

We drove one that we rented in FL. It's ok, cute. My DH is a GM dealer, and he was slightly impressed (he siad good things about it and he's not a Chevy dealer Chat Icon). But we also had to keep in mind it was a rental car and had been rented out before.
