I had two. The first one was done by my dh because no one in his family wanted to participate or take charge.
The second one by my mother.

I had three showers.
The big one was thrown by my Mom.
I had one thrown by friends at work.
The third shower was thrown by the parents of my students' in my class. I was very surprised by everyones generosity.

I had 2.
The first one was for friends only ( ALOT more fun!) that I had to throw MYSELF.
The second one was all family and my mom threw that one.
The reason I had 2 was my mom could not afford to have it at a restaurant and her house is too small to fit everyone at once so we broke it up into 2 weekends.
