around 6-7 weeks but dont get nervous if they dont find it a 6 weeks! happened to me! but it was there at 7 week!

my doc didn't see me until 8 weeks (they did all the blood work at 7 weeks)- the heartbeat was there.

I went at 5 w 3 days and was lucky enough to see the heart beating (didn't hear it) - the doctor said that he was surprised to see it that early.

I saw the heartbeat and had my 1st sono (this was my 1st apt.)
@ 8 weeks
my next apt. 12 weeks I HEARD the heartbeat... and then from then on in I heard that sweet sound everyweek

After your first appointment when you hear it, they will use the doppler to listen to it at every appointment. It never gets old
