bday party then er trip
we had my ds' double bday party yesterday (1 & 3). they had the best time (i'll post pics later.)
later that night the boys were running after each other hysterically laughing when zach my 1 yr old started throwing up (maybe laughed too hard and choked on siliva?) he threw up so bad that it came out of his nose and mouth at the same time and he couldn't breath. it was very mucusy. i tried to clear it but he was struggling and looking at me panicked . his lips and chin started turning blue. i was screaming for my dh but the second zach started vomiting my 3 yr old saw it and he started vomiting  so dh was with him in the kitchen. i screamed to call 911 and get me the nasal aspirator. he finally cleared an airway and started getting color back. it was THE SCARIEST 3 minutes of my life and i've had many bad issues with sick kids and family.
the ems people insisted we go with the ambulance to er. we waited 2 hours before anyone even saw us! and they only saw us then bc i had a fit. they took 5 minutes to check his temp and his breathing and let us go.
he's fine now but tired from everything.
me on the other hand not so fine. i am so scared that it may happen again or when he's alone in his crib. that look in his eyes and his little blue lips are killing me. .
such a crappy ending to a great day.

That sounded so scary!  I'm glad they are ok Maybe take them to the ped, to kind of follow up?
