How many bottles does your 11 month old get?

DS is 11 months old and as you all know he has been getting up during the week and for the last couple of nights he has been taking the whole bottle and drinking it all (8 ozs). I think he is not getting enough bottles during the day or I have to increase the ozs. He gets 2 8 oz bottles during the day (one in the morning & one at night). He used to get one mid afternoon but then I stopped that one. I think I have to start giving it to him again. I also think he is getting up because of his teeth.

What do you think?

is he getting dairy from other sources? (cheeses, yogurt, etc.)

My DD is 11 months old and she drinks 6- 4 oz. cups of milk a day (1 in the morning when she wakes up, one right before her mid-morning nap, one after her lunch, one before her after lunch nap and one before bed).

Your son sounds just about right.. I believe that around the 1 year mark, they should be drinking between 16-24 ounces of milk.

I gave Noah 2 bottles in the day and 1 before bed at that age, however, I did give him a bottle of formula/milk when I thought he might want one. I say if you think he might want another one, just let him have it. See if it works for you!

I am going to try giving him the middle bottle and see if that helps him sleep through the night.

Ryan gets 4 but never finishes them - I am doing away w/the mid morning one over teh next week I think. the afternoon one will be a while before I take it away bc he also wakes up hungry and inhales a bottle (but I'm not sure if it's sep. anxiety, he did it twice last night and I only fed him the first time)

Andrew drinks at least 3 usually 4 8 oz bottles and has really for months now.

Around that time she had just switched to 2/day, morning/night...

Matthew is 13 months and has 4 bottles a day. I want to cut it down but he only has 3 or 4 ounces at a feedng and isn't really having any other kind of dairy throughout the day so I am still sticking with the 4 bottles a day...

Thanks everyone. I am going to try adding the mid afternoon bottle and see if that helps him sleep the night.

My ped told me no less then 20 ounces of formula before they are 1. My ds gets 4 bottles a day - 7-8 ounces each. he is going to be one on Monday.

one before bed

about 6 oz in each.

she eats cheese/yogurt too
