How long did you wait to tell people?
I'm having a hard time keeping my mouth shut about being pregnant!  I know it's good to wait to make sure everything is OK before you tell people, but being this is our first pregnancy, we're having a hard time not telling people! We're too excited! We've told our immediate family and some very very close friends already.
I'm sure word has gotten out already somehow. You know, you tell one person and WHAMMO! It's on the front page of the newspaper.
How long did everyone wait before you told your friends?

We told our closest friends right away. Dh wanted to wait until 12 weeks to tell people that were weren't as close to, but as soon as DH had some drinks in him he blabbed it to the world.

we told family at 6 weeks, and friends between the span of 10-12 weeks

We told parents at 12 weeks, the rest of family & friends about 15 weeks and work at about 20 weeks.

We waited until 12 weeks to tell anyone....well LIF knew at 8 weeks

We weren't going to tell anyone until Thanksgiving which would be about 111 weeks - but it's so hard and we told basically all of DH's friends last night.
We will tell the rest of his family tomorrow and I will tell my family now too. The last of it will be my girlfriends who I think I will be telling this week.
So much for trying to keep it a secret. Once DH gets a few drinks in him - the secret is OUT!!!

I waited until about 8 or 9 weeks. Some poeple still don't know though. IMO- Just wait till the first dr appt. Then enjoy all the awesome reactions.

I am TRYING but DH feels the need to run his mouth to EVERYONE!! Grrrr... We were planning on telling MY family (cousins, friends etc) this weekend at a big dinner and he tells me this morning that he went and told my cousin already when he saw him!! I am FURIOUS!! They have big mouths and now my mom's whole plan went right out the door. I even told him NOT to tell anyone else until after tues, which is my 1st dr. apt.

We had to tell everyone at 8 weeks. Twins don't allow you to hide it for very long Family and close friends were when we got our BFP. Family was on eggshells waiting because we did IVF
