Ok, I'm sure this makes me a really bad catholic, but I didn't even KNOW mass was held on Thanksgiving.

yeah, there's Mass everyday, but it's usually very early in the morning and not much of a crowd. Thanksgiving Day Mass at most churches is at 9 AM and there's a big vrowd.
Growing up, we always went... Mom HAD to go and get the loaf of bread blessed by the priest! ( i am not kidding! )

You know, now that I think about it I did know there's mass everyday b/c my sister used to teach in a catholic school and they used to go every Friday at 9am.

Re: so who goes to
I am going to try to wake up. I have to get my blessed bread!
However, I may stay home this year. Last year my mom stayed home because she won't leave the house with the oven on ( with the turkey ) so I went with my Dad. This year I may let her go. . . I don't have to be AWAKE to watch the turkey right?
It is a nice mass if anyone is considering it. We are also having a food drive.
