Curtain help - What color/style?

I just bought this quilt set for the summer. Now I don't know what curtain style or color do put up on the walls. I was something airy and light for the summer, since my winter set is so heavy and jewel-y. Would cream/beige-y curtains look OK against the yellow walls? The quilt set doesn't have white in it, which is what I originally wanted.

Thank you, my rug is a very non-comittale green and the set looks really great in the room. The flowers are yellow and pink on the quilt, just very summery.

Now what style curtains? Sheer, lace, patterned or plain? You have no idea how this stuff makes me crazy trying to find the "right" thing!!!! Chat Icon

You could still put up white sheers, or off white. I'm not sure if you 'd also want to put up sage colored sheers (I think that's the color in the pic). I figure as long as you put up light, sheer curtains, you really can't go wrong.

Love the set, btw.

beautiful set! for airy I would go with sheer sage green with a white or ivory to match the bedspread roman shade for privacy at night if needed.

I love that. And you are so good matching your curtains - I am so bad at that. I would like something light and airy (like they have shown in the pic)

Just wanted to say that I LOVE your quilt..you have so many great colors to work with in that quilt...I definately like the idea of sheers.

Re: Curtain help - What color/style?

Thank you Chat Icon I'm really leaning towards white or cream colored.

I have faux wood blinds on the windows already, so I just need something over them.

I've seen sheers that are in that sage green color. I think that would look great against the ivory wall and pull in your bedspread color.

I love that set- I think white sheer would look great, or maybe white lace (but that may be over-girly)

window treatments are suppose to make powerful statements in a room. white or cream may get lost with that strong yellow wall.
