Grandma and Grandpa's Home
Address
City, State

RSVP by May 25th to (our names)
(phone number)
(e-mail address)

It's at my parents house. We are planning it in the backyard (weather permitting) So is the wording fine in naming where the place is? I was going to put "Our Home" but it's not our home...Chat Icon

Also should I put the e-mail address in?

Should I also put in both of our cell phone numbers on? or would that be too much contact info?

I think it would be too much. I would stick with one phone number and one email address.

Re: What do you ladies think of this wording for DS's first birthday invitations...

I agree. I hate too much going on on invites. The less words the better. (well I should talk with my poem for JAs invite Chat Icon )
but I mean other words that are not necessary.

you dont need to put their address on the invite, you can put that on a sheet with the directions. it's just taking up space and cluttering it up.

also since he calls them nonno and nonna. just say
@ Nonna & Nonno's home

dont need to put the last name either. (and take the last name off this site just for privacy reasons.)

Will all those words fit on that card ?

so cute! Chat Icon

I love barbara's idea about the email address too, but dont make it too long of an email, because people will type in one letter wrong and you'll never get it, just a thought.

also, maybe add something POOH-ish to the wording, since that's your theme?

if ya really wanna go crazy, cut 2 little slits at the top corner and add a little wallet size photo of him, like I did with Luciano's invite. (or it might have to be a little smaller so you dont cover anything on the card, but the left or right top corner should be fine)

I was just trying to think of an e-mail address.

Directions---I never thought of that. That's because everyone that i'm iniviting knows where my parents house is. Should I include directions?

I thought those that live on the other side of the earth (Long Island Chat Icon ) might need directions to get around in that crazy planet called Queens.Chat Icon Chat Icon

but I figured since you put the address, that there were family members that didnt know it.
so then why put the address to begin with?

the less wording the nicer the card looks.

just add a small piece of paper with address and directions and ph# if they get lost, just incase.
you can print like 10 per page and just print 2-3 pages. Type it up and I can format it for ya if you want.
