I was on News 12 last night/today!
They had a public school tax forum at the Hilton in Melville last night.
There were many representatives there from Albany as well as local businessmen, etc. discussing and explaining how budgets are determined and what factors in to those decisions.
It was very informative and entertaining, as one businessman basically slammed the representatives. At one point, I thought chairs would go flying (but they were bolted down  ) as people got very heated on core issues.
Steve Levy showed up towards the end and gave a very strong statement (I love him  ). What I was disappointed to see what that my husband and I were the youngest couple in an audience of over 300 and that there was NO minority representation on the panel or in the audience. I feel like everyone walked away with something from the experience.
The media was all over the place (11, 12, 55, etc.) and Bill Mooney spoke to me on camera about the concerns I had a taxpayer.
It was a very cool evening

It was soo funny when he came over to me...I looked demolished from working all day and all my neighbor kept saying was "I don't want to go on camera until I can fix my hair and put on some lipstick!"

I just saw the bit - they must've cut you out for the daytime segment 
They spoke to an older woman for about 8 seconds, but that's about it.
