There is a strawberry festival in Bellmore. If you check Newsday there is a section where you can search for weekend activities. I use their fun book all summer to keep me updated.

LI Convention & Visitors Bureau usually has a pretty robust calendar of events that you can search.

We always have a blast when we go.....hope it doesnt rain.
