Girls, any tips on what to wear for...
a family picture? For both DH and I, we're taking them next week with our pup and I'm not sure what kind of thing to wear, whether we should coordinate, etc. Thanks!!

Yes, try to coordinate - I think it always looks nicer. But don't make it too difficult either - it doesn't have to be "exact". You can do something plain like Jeans and a white top - or all in fall colors. Let's see the final result when you are done!

I was thinking a forest or loden green top of some type for DH and I with jeans. Not the exact same one, but in the same/similar color. My girlfriend did white tops for her whole family with jeans and it did look very nice. Its so hard to decide! I do want to coordinate though.

my husband is wearing a silver-gray shirt and black pants, stepdaughter gray sweater with black lacy thing underneath and black dress pants, boys, colin black sweater with red and white stripe across top, black pants, gavin gray sweater with the same stripes, black pants, spencer, black overalls with red shirt underneath, me. same as stepdaughter really!

My cousin and her DH (and the kids, too!) all wore jeans and classic white button downs and no shoes (with nice pedicures, of course) for their famly photo, and it's so great!

we're going to outside is the most i know about the background. maybe some local details, like barns, bridges, etc. i like the sound of solids though, and i did think about gray. i'm sold on jeans though and thinking about a white top.

I personally don't like everyone to be too matchy matchy but I do like when it coordinates. I think if you are doing it outside, it would be nice if everyone wore fall colors browns, deep reds, oranges, greens. Dark jeans and sweaters look nice but not too casual.
