Ever leave your rings in cleaning solution too long?
Hey guys! I have an over-the-counter jewelry cleaner, the Weiman's one. It says not to leave items in for more than 30 minutes...well, completely spaced and my diamond/plat wedding band and also a right hand diamond/white gold band were in for like 2 hours. I don't really see any harm done, but what is the harm? Should I be concerned and take them to be checked out? I'm really ocd about these things! Thanks! Anyone done this before?

nothing will happen. at our store we stuff cleaning over night bc its just that dirty.

i think that it only effects the fake stuff, if you leave it in the cleaning solution too long. I have left me wedding rings in and some costume jewerly while I was cleaning the house. forgot about it until I returned to the bathroom 2 hours later. The real stuff was fine, the costume jewelry didn't do as well.

i leave my wedding and e-rings in solution sometimes for a couple of hours - nothing bad has ever happened
