Looking for new hairdresser
I’ve been searching for a place to get a haircut that isn’t $70+ dollars. I have curly hair just below my shoulders and it takes 10 minutes to get a cut. I used to pay 30-35 dollars in Seaford then in Manhasset but I moved….so I’m on the search again.
I could go anywhere in between Queens and Woodbury.
Thanks ??

Looking for new hairdresser
I've been going to Supercuts. I think I paid $27 for a haircut the last time I went. But that doesn't include styling. They'll just blow it dry a little so you're not walking out with wet hair.

Re: Looking for new hairdresser
Do you have a Lemon Tree out there? Most people think they are bad because they are less money but many of these women and men have been in the business for over 20 and 30 years and are good.

My mom has gone to lemon tree for years. She loves it.
I go to NuBest in Manhasset but I just checked the prices and it's $80 for a cut now. They raised all of their prices post pandemic.

That is just crazy. I just got roots/full head highlights and a blow dry (not cut) and with tip, it came to $154.

Re: Looking for new hairdresser
There are some Lemon Trees and Supercuts around my area. I just had a bad experience years ago so never thought about going back. Thanks for the suggestion!

I only get my hair cut about twice a year although I should go way more. I also try to do a root touch up in between single processes so that I can stretch it out. Honestly having to sit in a salon for hours bothers me more than the money. I hate hair care!

That I don't mind. I love just sitting there and chilling out for 3 hours lol. It is better than cleaning or doing laundry at home lol
