I went into the Dunkin in my town around 330 recently and it's walking distance to the middle school and a table of middle schoolers were being so loud and obnoxious and making so much noise. The young employee had to yell at them several times in the 5 minutes I was in there.
So I can totally see this. It'd disruptive to other customers

the starbucks by the school where I teach is about to do something similar. they actually called and reached out to our building principal to hold a meeting about it

I can't. Kids are kids but obviously this became a huge problem that this man decided to close his doors. He said he called the school numerous times. What else can he do? Ridiculous. How about teach your kids to be respectful of others and then you don't have to worry about them not getting a frosty at 4 p.m.?

Something similar happened near me last year. a local deli close to a school limited the # of students coming in at a time because they were harassing staff. I believe they did meet with the school also.
It kind of makes me wonder if people hated us in the Burger Kind at lunch when I was in HS, but at most we were loud. We didn't intentionally bother other customers or staff.

I was thinking the same thing. We used to congregate at McDonald’s, which was a good meeting spot because it was intersection of where alot students would transfer buses. So basically you had a mix of kids from different schools. Kids didn’t harass anyone but I’m sure we were obnoxiously loud.

We have a few eating establishments close by that the kids frequent. But they do go there when they are hungry and dont hang out for long but they are annoying I am sure.

I owned a candy store in my town and all the middle schoolers used to come in after school and hang out. They were pigs and they were loud but other than that they were respectful. They were young still though - 12 and 13. Everyone who came in would comment how nice it was that they had somewhere to go and I agreed.
If my High schooler were behaving that way at a fast food restaurant I think I would make them get a job at the same place so they could see how annoying a** hole kids like that are.

Yea I don't blame him either, he tried. I bet the parents complaining think their kid is innocent or probably have good kids.
Parent can teach their kids everything and sometimes kids are just @ssholes, especially when they are around a group setting. Even the good ones, especially when they are hormonal teens.
