Smelly food at work
How do you deal with this?
Today was beyond horrible and I almost threw up from it. Apparently, this will happen 4 times a year. 
On the last day of classes before two weeks of testing, the soldiers like to bring in a traditional breakfast. This traditional breakfast is raw minced pork with very finely chopped onions and seasonings. The smell was beyond awful. I talked to other colleagues and some do not allow this food in their classes because of the smell.
How do I tactfully say no? I hate dictating to people rules like this. Food smells usually do not bother me, but I don’t know what happened.

I’d suck it up for the day. It’s only 4x a year and it seems to be something they enjoy. Saying it’s right before testing probably makes that part go better too - calming, relaxing, fun for them.
