Has anyone had problems with packages getting lost a lot lately?
Other than Amazon, almost everything I have ordered online has had an issue with shipping.
I currently have a package lost from Shein, a package lost from Thrive Causemetics and a package lost from the CBD company I buy CBD oil from.
I am not sure if it's the carrier they are using but all 3 packages got to a carrier facility and then stopped there for over a week with no updates and the packages had to be reshipped from the company. It seems they are using DHL and other shipping companies to tender these packages to the Post Office and they just aren't making it to the post office.
I have had this happen in the past but not as often as it's happening now. I am currently waiting for 3 items that shipped in late August and early Sept and God knows if they will arrive with the reshipment.
Luckily the companies have been great about reshipping the items, but there was something I really needed and now I'm not sure it will arrive in time.
Has anyone else noticed this recently? Totally unreliable shipping?

Yes. I order alot online....practically everything and I have never seen it this bad before. I also get alot stuck in the "carrier facility" and then just disappearing.

OH NO!!! I just ordered from Shein
well if it makes you feel better, i ordered a few others things that came right away. This one particular item , that i do need for a photo shoot for my daughter, was the only one to get lost. Of course!

I just wonder why though? Like what is going on? Where are these packages ending up? Stolen?

I know you said other than Amazon, but I am having a TON of issues with Amazon right now. I've been ordering from them FOREVER and this is the first time anything like this has happened. They "lost" two packages in one week. Not sure what is happening.

Ugh. I've had a few issues in the past with them shipping something then saying it's being returned to the warehouse or it's lost or whatever and giving me a credit.
Then I reorder the item and it comes- a few times the item they refunded shows up weeks later.
I recently had an Ulta order get lost- they sent me new product, and a week later the original order arrived- they told me to keep it for my troubles- so that was good, I got freebie back ups!

So to update, 2 of my missing packages were replaced by the companies.
For the Shein one- I got the replacement AND the original order on the same day. LOL
For another one, they processed another order for me at $0 and then the next day the original that was lost miraculously arrived and the new order is on the way still.
all the while both of these "lost" packages are showing as stuck somewhere even as they are now in my hands.
Gotta love it!
