I still can’t believe Camilla will be the queen.
She will be Queen Consort, not Queen lol.
On another note - now Archie and Lilibet can become prince and princess (I just read). But didnt their family step away from the royal family?

There are memes on the internet of Camilla celebrating becoming Queen Consort at last. Princess Dianas sons are probably not..especially Harry.

Sad! But she lived a long and seemingly good life! We are going to London very soon, so it will be interesting to see the tributes etc. while we are there

I was going to say the same thing, lol. Queen Consort means very little. Harry and Meghan stepped away, but the grandchildren automatically get named Prince and Princess. By blood this happens, and King Charles the 3rd makes this choice, not Harry and Meghan.
I am glad that he chose “Charles” as his King name. While it is a bit odd because of the whole Charles the 1st and Charles the 2nd from the House of Stuart, I’m still glad he chose that name.
I am curious if Australia chooses to become a republic. I’m a bit interested in how this will play out historically. It’s interesting to see what will happen. I am a bit sad that we may not see a real Queen for the rest of our lives.

What do you mean exactly? The UK is England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland.

Yes, I know that but I read that he actually changed it. I was curious why he’d do that when no one from his family ever did that.
