Texting without a Phone
Hello-
I am not ready to bite the bullet and get my DD a phone yet. Is there a device where I could still text her (and she text me) that doesn't require her to have a cell phone? Smart watch maybe? Thanks!

Texting without a Phone
There is smart watches like Tick Talk or Space Talk but they are bulky and not sure if your kid would like that. I find the best option is just to get a starter phone because kids do not need anything fancy (cheapest one from Metro Pcs) and cheapest plan.

My kids have Gizmo watches. It has the trifecta of GPS, phone and text (pre programmed written text and voice message texts ) . It's $100 bucks and $15 for the line. No internet capability
