Spinoff to NYE food
Do you usually stay awake until at least midnight? I just saw a Gen X meme and so many said they can't stay awake anymore lol.
To answer, yes, we either have a party or go to one and if we go out on the weekends we will be out until 1 or 2 so we can still hang at our old age. Granted hubby takes naps all the time. I don't but I never have been a napping person.

We stay awake because we are usually always with friends. This year it’s just us at home with all the cooties going around. So it may be difficult. Especially since DH and I are usually in bed by 9:30 the latest

I am always up past midnight so it'll be no different. DH is usually asleep by then but the kids want to stay up so we'll stay up this year as a family.

My M.O. lately is passing out on the couch around 9/930, sleeping until 1 am or so then waking up and not being able to sleep half the night (especially after a few cocktails) so I'll probably be asleep for the ball drop but wide awake later! 
DH is always in bed by 10 pm no matter what...so he's definitely out

Spinoff to NYE food
Since having kids we have stayed home on NYE and never see the ball drop. Tomorrow night we will order in takeout and watch a movie, put the kids to bed around 9 pm, and we will probably in bed by 10/10:30.

I'm usually ready for bed by 9....
But I always have to see the Ball drop...
So I will do what it takes to not miss it.

Funny I was trying to think if I ever went to bed early as an adult and don’t think so. Lol
My parents never did anything and went to bed early so until I met my husband I probably only stayed up a few times.
After kids we would either stay home with them and do snacks and watch by ourselves or have a party so we could celebrate and not have to get a sitter.
Now they do their own thing or have come with us but would rather spend time with their friends instead of us old people lol

I try to stay up but NYE is usually a work day and I am up way before dawn.
I used to work NYE since I was a teenager so it was never a big deal to me and I didn't much care to do anything.

Was up to almost 3am and stayed in bed until 1. It was wonderful as I have had a very busy 4 weeks, non stop and need a day to just chill.
