Gulf Coast of Florida
Looking into family friendly hotel/resort on the Gulf coast of Florida. Kids are 10 and 13. Would love anything like water slides, lazy river, golf, mini golf, spa for pedicures, etc. Really would like to be on the beach, and would like a really nice beach (warm, clear water, soft sand). Any suggestions?
Also looking for suggestions for activities, restaurants, etc.

If your kids are fans of Winter the Dolphin, their hotel is on Travelzoo at a discounted rate I saw today! That's in Clearwater (very pretty there too)

We stayed at the trade winds years ago and loved it. Look for my user name LSP2005 and tradewinds as the key word.
