Anyone know what phase malls can open?
I'm not dying to go to a mall, trust me. In fact I haven't really gone to a mall in years because I hate it.
But I have something I need to return and the only store is in the mall. I bought it online but to ship it back is expensive.
I was hoping to just pop in the store and do a quick, free return.
I was hoping if the mall opened soon I could just run in and out.
Anyone know?

Really? I think here in NJ malls are opening at the end of the month. I thought NY was similar to NJ

The final phase. But you can go to Tanger, they arenopen now. Just check the website for list of stores, not all have reopened...

Thanks! I could have googled this but was lazy. LOL
Hopefully they will open soon so I can go there with the return rather than ship it.

Not sure of the store, but Nordstroms was doing curbside returns at one point. Try calling the store in question..

Anyone know what phase malls can open?
I think if the store has an outside entrance they can be open (Macys, JCP, etc). But the malls itself are closed until I think phase 4.

They probably will. I know Abercrombie and Loft both did extend for sure.

I would think if you called them up and explain the situation they might allow you to ship back at their expense, especially if no local stores are currently open.

And people say it's taking weeks to get their items! If you are charging that much for shipping, it shouldn't take weeks! I get that it's a pandemic and all but, most things I have ordered have come in a timely fashion.

Bath and Body Works is the only store I shop in person because I refuse to pay the shipping costs. I had to order a bunch of hand soaps in early April and I actually did the live chat and asked why they were charging for shipping when you literally had no choice. They gave me a code.

They should keep all food courts closed down, all common type areas in the malls, and not allow people to just hang out and congregate- just go into your store, do your business and get out.

Today they announced that malls, gyms, movie theatres will NOT be part of the phase 4 reopening plan.
